It is learnt from sources that DPC for Adhoc promotion from ITO to ACIT for the vacancy year 2015-16 likely to take place early next week. CBDT is busy with preparation of Annual Tax Conference and the proposed DPC will be convened only after the programme.
Sources added that tentative date for DPC has been fixed on Monday, the 20th June.

Although its a good news but not for lower grade employees. There are many group-c employees retired without getting their due promotions. Now, many are retiring shortly and hope may not get their due promotions because the intention of our JCA is only to give benefits to ITO and above.
Before the DPC 2015-16, JCA should have fight for the same adhoc promotions for the lower grade employees of DPC 2014-15 first. there is no body to look after the welfare of lower grade people.
Our fate is rest with CBDT only. Hence, we should stop participating any sort of agitational programmes called by JCA at any time. Why should we be bad in-front CBDT which provides us bread and butter.
The ITI s who are asking for an adhoc promotion need to understand that it is only after regularisation their seniority would be fixed and from that date they require to put in 4 years to get their higher grade pay. In fact the ad hoc promotion of ACs IT itself is not a good thing as it can technically only last for a year. Socho uske baad jaago

Bs they are getting more pay, after that they are common people as like as people in a theater. Name, fame and live lies with politician, film star, sports star, poet, writer and other eminent person. Koi ITO, ACIT, DCIT,JCIT ka promotion leke Bharat Ratna to nehin mil jata ya booker prize to nehin milta. Bas rozi Roti ka hi milega. Koi nehin Puchta dost. Wo zamana chala gaya hai.

I do not know why ITEF is not focussing the issue of adhoc promotion for group c employees. We all know JCA is interested for adhoc promotions of ITO to ACIT only, otherwise it could have fought for the same adhoc promotions for lower grade employees (2014-2015) before DPC 2015-16 of ITO-ACIT.
There is no need of stenosis in dept. As how many officers are dictating we all knows. Moreover non liabilities in dept. And promotions are well in time as getting 4600 G.P. in three yrs only. That is also not justify to others.
Kyon bhai log kya hua. Aaajkal sab log steno k piche Pade hai. Puri city k liye ek steno hai. Aur kitne logonka kam kare bhai ek steno. There is no need to dictate d steno. Stenos r capable to do every job. Don't under estimate d power of stenos.

I have passed the Departmental exam for ITO in December 2015. In which year I will considered for promotion to ITO after considering DPC for ITO to ACIT in R.Y. 2015-16.
Department is being run by the stenos with other staff members. They are capable of A to Z work of the department. Dear colleagues are feared about non utilization of others post in the presence of stenos? Stenos promoted to ITO and ITI are doing their work successfully. Feeder cadre of ITI is also qualifying nature for stenos. Don't hurt your colleagues. We are loosing our effort in quarrel instead of getting more post and promotion.

U r right . They have no knowledge about working. I have seen so many AOs who were stenos. At persent they are suffering due to lack of knowledge. Stenos are only can talk & nothing else. So that their reservation in promotion should be abolished.and their liability also be fixed in department.
Without stenos department will also be going on. Isn't it.
