As reported from sources close to CBDT, promotion order for adhoc ACITs is going to be issued very soon. The main obstacles for this long awaited promotion order have finally been removed.
1. The minutes of the DPC meeting which was held long before on 20th and 21st of June is finally signed by the committee members.
2. Promotion as per CAT Ahmedabad order has effected today. One ITO of Ahmedabad region promoted as ACIT with notional effect from 28.03.2012. View the order
It is expected that promotion for the panel year 2015-16 will be effected very soon, probably within this week.

ITGOA leaders, are you still on hangover of Managing Committee meeting ?
But several Pccits are not giving consequential promotion. Cbdt should issue proper Clarification in this matter to avoid litigation.
ITGOA is in complete mess regarding implementation of nrp. Each leader is having his own agenda and pulling the jca in their side. The poor itef guys went with itgoa on nrp are in soup.
The PCCIT in charge of AP & TS is not issued consequent adhoc order for IIT to ITO. Itef is in deep sleep. Members agitated on the inaction of the itef and the adamant pccit.
The RS has signed the file and forwarded to FM. If all goes well we can expect order by tomorrow evening

While issuing the orders itself, board has to mention the vacancy year clearly so that there is no confusion in consecutive promotions.
ITGOA infighting with regard to NRP blown out during MCM meeting recently held in Bangalore. The main culprits Arvind Trivedi & Co., are the major tumbling block for the implementation of NRP fearing losing of seniority are making so many hurdles in implementing NRP because of which so many promotions are on hold. These people must be thrown out of ITGOA and JCA immediately.
IRREPARABLE DAMAGES OF DELAY IN PROMOTIONS ALREADY DONE, ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO WILL RETIRE WITHOUT PROMOTION.
Enough is enough. Now try to get promotion for 2016=17 and ad-hoc promotion for Itos onwards. If we try now will get end of this year

Due to untiring efforts of JCA, FM has signed the approval and there is no obstacle in ito to acit promotion now

ITGOA met the Chairman & Member(P), CBDT today and demanded for minimum displacement of officers of 2015-16 in T & P, 2016 and also no Training for these batches till 31-03-2017.

It has just been learnt that ITO to ACIT Promotion Orders for RY 14-15 & RY 15-16 are expected in an hour's time.
One month passed since DPC but no order till date. Pl update if any news for promotion
The Pr. CCIT AP rejected to allow ITIto ITO promotions. There's no chance of consequential ad-hoc promotions in his tenure. ITEF can't even knock his door and ask for a meeting.
Tamilnadu pccit is holding additional charge if AP. Here also same story. No consequential promotions issued by him. Itef is not touching the PCCIT office floor for any representation for obvious reasons. Modification, retention, promotion and other orders are kept pending. Our great General Secretary is not at all answering members queries and keeping mum. Unless board intervenes on consequential vacancies our condition is very pathetic.
Confirm news, No order of ITO to ACIT till July end. Please do not wait for Promotion order, no real or technical issue, but the attitude of People in the board and ministry is the real culprit.
