Committee of Secretaries (CoS) has finally cleared R K Tiwari's name as the successor of Sudha Sharma, the incumbent of Chairperson of CBDT. Tiwari, a 1976 batch IRS officer, will be new Chairperson of CBDT from March 1, 2014. Presently he is Member (Legislation & Computerization) CBDT.

CR favours IRS why can't we say no to CR
The Board as well as the unions proved their incapability of implementing the CR, even after 8 months of its notification. Now the government can withdraw the CR or better appoint IAS hands in the Board.
Top boses will come & go, when asked them regarding restructuring of employees , they utter ## NO NO, NO, NO, not at all ## @

It is a joint conspiracy of CBDT and ITGOA & ITEF central Hqrs. executive members ..... allocation has been deferred for 2 days' strike..... the ongoing agitation(??)is nothing but eye wash... none of the union leaders has any kind of sympathy[as somebody indicating] towards WB region.... it will be crystal clear, within coming few days....
.. think logically, is it possible, that a region holding more than 1400 posts? ..if yes, how it was sanctioned? wthat was the the then formula?.... No!!!...generally, the IRS s[surely, not everyone] are not actually want WB posting...because they don't get desirable facilities[m***y & ors] in WB.....WB posting is a punishment posting to them.....so, the formula is so framed, that the allocation show the excess figure for WB...and all the committees did it , taking the central hqrs. leaders in confidence.... whatever they saying now, is absolute rubbish!!!...there is huge gap between mouth and musk..

Don't talk like a foolish man.did IRS officers have stopped us from writing upsc?We don't have calibre to write the toughest exam of this country.we should be courteous.our promotion policy is far better than excise.this is only organisation where a LDC becomes ITO.

Please block all news and rumours on cr, it is effecting working of department . Moreover purpose of cr to collect tax of 25000 cr is already defeated on that base it was approved. If the same was implemented in phase wise deptt should have collect some thing now it is nothing but to establish our identity and playground for politics.pl withdraw the cr at an earliest to deptt may work
Why this incometax people are fighting for seat allocation? Don't they have enough chairs in their offices?
Dear colleagues, don't expect the post allocation before issue of order of Principle CCIT posts which has been returned by the competent authority for certain clarification. When top officers are keeping quiet regarding their C.R. promotion why the hell chota log creating so much hungama by saying this and that. So better do your work and get your promotion after big things settled.
Big people may have big issues. Small people's issues shoud not be belittled. Really they constitute the Dept. This carrot and inducing technque started since the time of British rule. People getting huge salaries and perquisits may not have much difficulty in all systems. It quite natural that small people showing anxiety regarding their future. It is shameful that CR Could not be implemented after lapsing 8 months since its approval. It is like the street dogs fighting for the piece of bone. I suspect there some the ITEF, ITGOA & Boared has some hidden agenda behind the prolonging of implementation of CR. Benefits delayed is equal to denied. Employees are really annoyed by the stories of CR.
Why clarification not issued by the Board for the granting of 3% promotional increment to OS ?
Time is running out. Other like Railways, CBEC already clarified the same.

Why ITGOA is not participating in the two days' strike ? They only expressed "solidarity". They are the opportunist people who will enjoy the benefits but will not face any possible consequences.
It is really surprising that how my friends ate participating in tomorrows itef strike. Itef works for casual labourers. Let all of us revolt now by boycotting the strike and teach the shameless itef good for noting leaders a lesson.
Heard that IRSA has send a letter to CBDT that those going on strike must be placed under disciplinary proceedings. Surprise...ITGOA has supported this move taken by IRSA.
We should oppose the strike.Strike of ITEF is fully politically motivated not for the welfare of the IT employees.

NWR is not conducting any dpc due to one very influential leader of ITEF who have no interest in promotions. He is insisting to conduct dpc for abolished cadre so his near n dears can taken benefits.
